  6. Give us a general overview of your adventure:
    A Forest Gump bicycle ride from Adelaide to Tennant Creek via Victoria’s Great Ocean Road, clockwise lap of Tasmania, followed the East Coast to Cooktown, across to Normanton (base of Gulf of Carpentaria) to finish at Tennant Creek. Sometimes alone, sometime with fellow cyclists pedalling the same path.
  7. Was it difficult?: no
    Why or why not?
    It was all in the preparation. I undertook a 500km shake down ride to test my body & equipment & left home anything not used.
  8. Would you recommend this adventure trip to someone else? Why or Why Not?
    I definitely would. It was a very fulfilling experience in so many ways. Starting with what limitations the mind, body & soul can handle, being at one with nature (especially on remote Outback roads)I could go on , so don’t think about it JUST DO IT!!!
  9. What do you wish you would have done differently?
    I would have visited more National Parks
  10. What kind of advice can you give to other travellers going on this adventure?
    From equipment I didn’t require, which direction to travel & mental preparation.

    Unknown at this stage

    I had been on 4WD extended camping trips within Australia
