Where did you go? How many days? What was the number of people?
They are the only choice for my motorcycling adventures in Vietnam and Laos. In February 2003, I did a 8 days Tet Fiesta tour, with unforgettable memories of sharing happiness in their local host families in the northern mountain of Vietnam. I joined in a group of 13 people – and 3 of their guides. I fell in love with their tour adventures. I came back in 2005 for another 12 days in the far North Center with 2 French, called Frederic and Pascal, and my guide Tuan. That was another really knock on my heart. This is the best example to link with their culture. That was in March of 2005. And, then I decided to discover Laos, also with Voyage Vietnam, in November 2005. Our trip started from Hanoi on a Minsk crossing the border at Nemeo – Namsoi in Laos – for 15 days in the Northern Laos to Vieng Xay, Nong Khiew, Luong Nam Tha, Huei Xay, Luang Prabang, and then following the Ho Chi Min Trail in Laos to Lao Bao, to the DMZ of Vietnam.
Recommend this company?
Why or why not?
You will fall in love the local people. All the trips I made with them were the best trips so far in my 20 years traveling in the world. They have reasonable prices and high quality of the trip. Most of their guide are fluent in English, French and Thai languages.
What’s one piece of advice for going on an adventure?
Just listen to them. Then you will know that the are the great director for your freewheeling.
What was your guide like? What was his name?
They love and pride on their country’s cultures. They don’t only tell you, but show you about Vietnam. They link you to their customs in the countryside. They have very good knowledge about Vietnam and Laos.
I recommend all of their guides. All guides were well trained and experienced but I love my guide, the most crazy biker I have seen but also the best one I trust to tour any where he want. His name is Nguyen Anh Tuan. He is friendly, smiles alway and is kind. He loves to help poor people in the countryside.
What was your opinion of the tour company?
Would recommend to my rich parents
