We’ve created an all-inclusive private journey that combines serious game viewing in the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater, two of the world’s most game-rich parks, with plenty of our trademark GBC cultural interaction in Maasai villages between destinations. This itinerary effectively condenses the best of Tanzania into a 6 day itinerary for a trip you'll never forget!
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – Arusha
Meet at the airport and transfer to your lodge for pre-safari briefing.
Overnight: Lake Duluti Lodge (Dinner included)
Day 2 – Arusha – Esilalei – Crater Highlands
After breakfast, we transfer into the Maasai Heartlands to a village called Esilalei (Toothbrush Tree) located in the wildlife corridor in between Tarangire and Lake Manyara. We enjoy a packed lunch just as we enter the village and are met by the village elders and morani (warriors) singing and dancing to welcome us. Your visit supports the building of their school here. Continue onto E Unoto Maasai Retreat for a late lunch and then climb into the lush gardens of the Crater Highlands for overnight.

Day 3 – Crater Highlands – Ngorongoro
Ngorongoro is collapsed volcano – an incredible natural amphitheatre, 25 km across and teeming
with all of the African big game. We will take an early morning descent into the crater for spectacular scenery and game viewing in what has been described as the eighth wonder of the world. In late afternoon, we return to the rim for a wilderness walk that showcases incredible views of the caldera. Continue onto our exclusive suites for overnight stay.

Day 4 – Ngorongoro – Serengeti
Serengeti is calling today – you have the option of passing through
Olduvai Gorge and viewing the archaeological
sites (and their companion museum) where early human
tools and fossils have been found. Otherwise, we
drive directly to the Serengeti! Game drive in the
rolling grasslands. Criss-crossed with forested
riverine valleys, the Serengeti plays home to
millions of Africa’s large mammals, making this one
of the world’s most famous wildlife destinations.

Day 5 – Serengeti
Today we're enjoying an all day game drive in Serengeti. The best time for the
wildebeest migration is Dec to June but there are
spectacular wildlife sights at anytime of the year!

Day 6 – Serengeti – Arusha
We enjoy an early morning game drive before
transferring to the airstrip for our flight back to
Arusha.
Overnight: Onward travel to Zanzibar or Dar es Salaam. (Breakfast and Lunch included)
Accommodation Information
Lake Duluti Lodge
Lake Duluti Lodge offers incredible villa style suites on the shore's of Lake Duluti. It is set on a 30 acre working coffee plantation and all your meals, snacks, local drinks, laundry, butler service and nature walks are included. Also has a swimming pool and bar/lounge area at your convenience.
Plantation Lodge
Plantation Lodge is set in the Ngorongoro Crater Highlands and is a unique property on the safari circuit. Rooms are individually furnished and are set amongst lush gardens.
Ngorongoro Crater Lodge
Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is the luxury accommodation on the Ngorongoro Crater rim. All inclusive accommodation with rondavel suites spread over three camps. Private verandah, fireplace and huge bath tubs are some features of each suite.
Note: The best locations for game driving alter throughout the year
depending on the location of the Wildebeest Migration and the resident
wildlife. For this reason, we also amend the accommodations in the
Serengeti throughout the year to suit:
- December – March: Lake Masek Tented Camp
- April – July: Mbalageti Serengeti, tented chalet
- August – November: Sayari Camp
