Itinerary

Day 1 Kathmandu

Take an afternoon tour of the fascinating medieval city of Bhaktapur and explore the twisting alleyways and charming markets. The evening is free to soak up the heady vibe of Kathmandu.

Day 2 Pokhara

Spend the morning discovering the sights of Kathmandu including the Pashupatinath and Swayambhunath temples and the wonderful architecture of Durbar Square. Enjoy a flight over the mountains to Pokhara.

Days 3-4 Himalaya Trek

Stretch those legs in the spectacular Himalaya. Stunning views and friendly faces await on this mountain trek over varied terrain.

Day 5 Pokhara

Breathe in the crisp mountain air and view more dramatic scenery heading back to Pokhara. Spend time winding down by the picturesque lake, stroll to the World Peace Pagoda or indulge in a massage.

Day 6 Bandipur

Well off the tourist track, Bandipur has sensational views and a warm vibe. Tour the medieval streets, discover orange groves and fig trees and chat with the local people.

Days 7-8 Chitwan National Park

Discover a lost world of towering trees and twisting vines, spot crocodiles and deer and the grand rhinos. Rise early to head out into the forest on elephants and enjoy a traditional Tharu tribal dance in the evening.

Days 9-10 Kathmandu

Spend the morning relaxing or with further exploration of the national park. Head back to the capital for a final dose of shopping or culture. Perhaps celebrate this royal sojourn with a grand gacok, a Tibetan hotpot extravaganza named after its brass tureen that is heated at the table.
