Giraffes, Elephants & Warriors

Map Image

Kenya - home to Africa's Big 5 and also home to the famous Masai tribe who dot the landscape in their colourful red robes whilst tending their herds of cattle. On this action packed tour we have the chance to feed giraffes, watch baby elephants at an elephant orphanage, meet Morani, an orphaned tamed black rhino, and visit a chimpanzee sanctuary. There are game drives in Olpejeta Game Sanctuary and Samburu Reserve where we look for cheetah and leopard, a boat trip on Lake Naivasha, and a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park - famous for its pink flamingos. We visit one of Kenya's most famous parks and the 7th wonder of the world - the Masai Mara, where game drives take us in search of the Big 5 - lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo, elephant plus a multitude of other game and amazing birdlife. August to October sees the annual wildebeest migration, a sight to behold offering memories to last a lifetime.
As part of this journey, children will receive complimentary membership of the Adventurers' Club which offers many exciting activities whilst in camp, such as helping to build a mini Masai home, learning to make fire by rubbing two sticks together as well as educational activities to learn about the environment and surrounding landscape. Please note that the child price is only applicable for children under 12 sharing a room with 2 adults, with a maximum of 1 child per room. If children are in a separate room, or if 1 child is sharing with only 1 adult, then the adult price applies.
