Itinerary

Days 1-2 Berlin

The adventure begins in Germany's fascinating capital, where historical sights abound - check out Checkpoint Charlie, the Brandenburg Gate and the ruins of the infamous Berlin Wall. Enjoy some free time to discover the city at leisure. Visit the zoo, take in city views from the 204-metre-high television tower platform or escape the buzz of the city in one of its many parks.

Days 3-5 Prague

The delightful Czech Republic is a fantastic place to continue our adventure. Take a stroll across the Charles Bridge, featured in Mission Impossible, and take a local tram up to Prague Castle. Later, visit a marionette theatre where traditional Czech puppets come to life.

Days 6-7 Cesky Krumlov

This charming town dates back to the 13th century but has plenty to keep the modern family entranced. A cycle through the countryside offers a close-up look at Czech rural life, while the views from the Krumlov castle tower are sublime.

Days 8-9 Vienna

Head to the Prater Amusement Park for a twilight fun fair jaunt, including a ride on the Riesenrad ferris wheel. Visit the imperial Schonbrunn Palace, stopping to admire the panoramic city views from the Gloriette Monument, then end the day with some delicious sacher torte.

Days 10-12 Bled

Overcome your fear of heights on a cable car ride up to the scenic summit of Mt Vogel. Get some fresh Slovenian country air cycling to Vintgar Gorge or canoeing on Lake Bled. Make a wish on the island in the middle of the lake then satisfy that sweet tooth with some traditional Bled cream cake.

Days 13-15 Venice

Walk across the Bridge of Sighs, admire the Basilica di San Marco or explore the piazzas, palaces, old-world shops and stunning buildings in this city of gondolas, canals and hidden treasures.
