Itinerary

Day 1 Maun/Okavango Delta

Get an aerial view of the turquoise waterways criss-crossing the Okavango Delta on a flight to the campsite. Wind through the delta's inlets and islands in a mokoro. Traditionally made from ebony or kigelia logs, these shallow craft are stable and agile - perfect for navigating remote and tangled delta regions. Perhaps visit your guide's village to meet the people who inhabit this wild paradise.

Days 2-3 Okavango Delta

Explore the delta's lilypad carpeted channels, lagoons and islands by mokoro. Look out for hippos flattening paths through the foliage, elephants and shy antelopes emerging from the forest or even crocodiles lurking on the banks.
