Itinerary
Day 1 Victoria Falls/Livingstone
The spectacular Victoria Falls are known to locals as Mosi oa Tunya, 'the smoke that thunders', because the spray rising up from the bottom of the gorge can reach over 400 m. The surrounding basalt cliffs are covered in lush forests where a first glimpse of big game may be had.Days 2-3 Chobe National Park
Thousands of elephants share the Chobe National Park with wildebeest, giraffes and many more iconic African animals. A slow morning cruise along the winding blue-green waters of the Chobe River provides an excellent opportunity to look out for hippos and fish eagles. Over the next two days, enjoy game drives through the grasslands, passing watery marshes home to iconic African wildlife. At night, experience the haunting sounds of the savannah before drifting off to sleep in a comfortable bush camp.Day 4 Victoria Falls/Livingstone
The adventure ends among the historic tin-roofed Victorian houses in Livingstone.
