Kenya (MAD) Project - 14 days

Itinerary

Day 1 Nairobi/Rural Project

Meet your group for the first time in Kenya's busy capital, Nairobi. Hit the road and head to the Rift Valley where you'l find your new village home. Keep a look out for Kenya's famous wildlife as you go. You'll be living the local life in your simple accommodation - bucket showers, little or no electricity and fantastic home cooked meals are all part of the experience.

Day 2 Village

Start exploring the village and surrounding areas. See the school and building site, meet the teachers and your fellow workers and settle in to village life. Be sure to take a photo of the building site - it won't look like that for long!

Days 3-13 Teaching and Building

Settle in to the daily routine of building and teaching. Between the two you have time to plan lessons or take on some extra projects like starting English lessons for the adults or perhaps a football club for the kids!

Day 14 Nairobi

Your time working on the project draws to an end. Bid a sad farewell to your new Kenyan friends, admire the progress on your building site and head back to Nairobi.
