This is a beach getaway unlike any other, resonant with the cries of gulls as fishermen haul their catch and alive with the gentle magic of Morocco.

Itinerary

Day 1 Marrakech/Essaouira

Relax in a comfortable riad, home for the next five days. Beachside Essaouira is full of these architectural marvels, many sporting colourfully decorated doors with traditional brass door knockers.

Days 2-4 Essaouira

Sheltered by Mogador Island, Essaouira enjoys a peaceful outlook. Explore with a local guide, and discover the town's long and fascinating history. Discover the famous artwork and music of the medina, marvel at spectacular ocean views from the fortress or try an exhilarating spot of kite-surfing. In the mornings, watch colourful fishing boats re-entering the harbour and perhaps, in the evenings, sample their delicious catch.
