Itinerary
Days 1-3 Korcula
Experience the spectacular coastal scenery of the Dalmatian Coast on foot. Begin on the lush, green island of Korcula and walk on well-formed coastal paths, meandering past ancient olive groves, through forests of oak and cypress, and into picturesque coves. Visit a vineyard to sample renowned local wines and cool off with a dip in warm turquoise waters.Day 4 Mljet
Hike the perfumed pine-covered hills of Mljet for magnificent views over the two saltwater lakes, Veliko Jezero and Malo Jezero. With one-third of the island protected as a national park, Mljet is abundant with rich vegetation concealing ancient Roman ruins. Some even theorise that Homer wrote of the island in his Odyssey.Days 5-8 Hvar/Brac
Spend the afternoon hiking among Hvar's fields of lavender and rosemary - their scents wafting upon the sea breeze. Pass through small villages and take a sunset stroll along the Hvar Town promenade. Relax on the beaches or mingle with locals in the town centre. Travel to Brac to discover its enchanting towns and hike through its cypress, orange and olive groves. Wander forth to the highest peak for great views over rough terraced ridges and the blue Mediterranean beyond.
