Itinerary
Days 1-2 Cairo
Meet your guide in the late afternoon, then visit a nearby fruit market and indulge in a delicious fresh mango juice at a well-known cafe. Next embark on a one-hour sailing trip aboard a felucca. These traditional wooden sail boats have plied the Nile for centuries and offer a brilliant view of the city skyline - a real contrast to the familiar Cairo on land and a great way to escape the bustle. Be escorted to the Pyramids after dark to experience a sound-and-light show in which these impressive monuments are lit up with lasers and lights. This is a tourist's only chance to see the Pyramids by starlight. The excursion ends on arrival at your hotel where tonight's accommodation is included.
