Itinerary

Day 1 Lima

Step into the magical land of Peru, home to fascinating ruins and colourful stories. Get to know the capital by exploring the Plaza de Armas, or head to the beachside suburb of Miraflores to walk along the waterfront.

Day 2 Cuzco

Explore the colonial city of Cuzco during an orientation walking tour, then perhaps sit down for a delicious lunch at Yanapay, a restaurant set up to support Cuzco's children.

Day 3 Sacred Valley

Journey into the lush Sacred Valley, stopping by a local community to learn about daily life in this scenic area.

Day 4 Aguas Calientes

Climb aboard the train to Aguas Calientes and perhaps have a splash and a soak in the town's hot springs.

Day 5 Machu Picchu/Cuzco

Spend the day exploring the amazing ruins, and take a short walk up to the Sun Gate for breathtaking views over the entire complex.

Day 6 Cuzco

Relax in the quaint streets and cosy cafes, or take an optional walk up the hill to Saqsayhuaman to learn the legend of the Inca's great fortress.

Days 7-8 Amazon Jungle

Journey deep into the jungle where caiman, macaws and lizards abound. From here the kids will head off on an adventure following maps, solving riddles and finding clues to learn about the local environment. Get a bird's-eye view of the jungle from a tower above the treetop canopy, then learn about Ania, the jungle girl, and visit her incredible forest home.

Days 9-10 Lima

Bid the Amazon goodbye then travel back to Lima for a final farewell to fascinating Peru.
