Day 1 Reykjavik
Travel to Iceland and visit Reykjavik. Arrive early and shed light on Norse culture at the National Museum.
Day 2 Hvolsvollur
Get a thrill at the Strokkur geyser and see the 'Golden Falls'.
Day 3 Kirkjubaejarklaustur
Look out for Dyrholaey's puffins on the beautiful south shore.
Day 4 Hofn
Cross black sands to Skaftafell National Park. Walk to Svartifoss Waterfall and the tongue of Europe's biggest glacier.
Day 5 Egilsstadir
Admire Iceland's mountain vistas in the Almannaskard.
Day 6 Myvatn
Marvel at Asbyrgi - an incredible horseshoe-shaped canyon.
Day 7 Hrutafjordur
Check out the volcanic lava of Leirhnjukur - still warm more than 20 years after it flowed.
Day 8 Snaefellsnes
Continue around Snaefellsnes Peninsula and its magnificent glacier. Stop by Djupalonssandur.
Days 9-10 Reykjavik
Visit the home of poet Snorri Sturluson before returning to Reykjavik via Hvalfjordur, the Whale Fjord.
