Day 8 Everest Base Camp

Day 10 Bush camp

Day 12 Gyantse

Day 20 Golmund

This mining town is the perfect pit stop before the Tibetan journey ahead.

The breathtaking Buddhist art adorning the spectacular Mogao Caves is believed to be the best of its kind in the world.

Day 23 Bush camp

The shifting colours of the desert sands make this an ideal place to pitch a tent.

Days 24-25 Turpan
