Day 1 Lima
Explore the colonial plaza and scenic streets of downtown Lima, or perhaps head to the Gold Museum to discover its collection of glistening antiquities.Days 2-4 Huaraz
Enjoy the action packed activities on offer, including mountain biking in the Andes, trekking to glassy Llanganuco Lake or even ice climbing on the Pastoruir Glacier.Days 5-6 Huanchaco
Pitch a tent at seaside Huanchaco, home to the surfing fishermen. Stroll to the shoreline to watch these skillful fishermen amongst the waves, balancing on their narrow reed canoes. Perhaps even give this method a try to discover how difficult it really is. Spend a full day exploring the ruins of Chan Chan, the largest pre-Columbian city in South America. Visit the Temples of the Sun and the Moon, huge crumbling pyramids built from an estimated 140 million abode bricks.Days 7-8 Punta Sal

Pitch a tent in the lush, mountainous Tungurahua Province. Explore nearby Banos, famous for its hot springs, and maybe soak in the town's baths filled with these therapeutic waters. Optional activities abound here - from horse-riding to mountain biking and even white water rafting.Days 14-16 Amazon Jungle
The lush verdant jungle of the upper Amazon Basin is one of the world's most biologically diverse regions. Set off on treks heading deep into the heart of the jungle, visit freshwater pools inhabited by long-legged caimans and canoe down twisting rivers to meet hospitable locals.Days 17-18 Otavalo
The scenic town of Otavalo is steeped in tradition, so wander around and admire the colourful clothing of the friendly villagers. Explore this scenic region on horses or by trekking, or perhaps sooth away muscle aches in the Papallacta hot springs.Day 19-20 Quito
