Itinerary

Days 1-2 Buenos Aires

Get swept up in the infectious energy of Argentina's vibrant capital. Sample epicurean delights in one of many cosmopolitan restaurants or perhaps wander picturesque boulevards to admire grand architecture. Visit the Casa Rosada, the pink presidential palace famously associated with Evita, or check out a street tango show in colourful La Boca. Whatever your thing, Buenos Aires has it covered.

Days 3-4 Cordoba

A popular holiday destination, Cordoba boats a laidback atmosphere and loads of charm. Nestled among green hills, this delightful city is home to beautiful churches, renowned galleries and lively bars. Take a stroll around the historic Jesuit Block or head to Nueva Cordoba to discover the city's hip restaurants and busy nightlife.

Days 5-7 Estancia Stay

Unleash that inner gaucho while staying on a working cattle ranch. Explore the vast Pampas on horseback and enjoy the succulent flavours of a traditional Argentine barbecue.

Days 8-9 Cafayate

Explore the fascinating ruins at Quilmes, an ancient site dating from about AD 1000. Climb one of the trails flanking the ruins for sweeping views of valley below before exploring Argentina's picturesque wine region. Learn about local production on a vineyard tour in Cafayate, perhaps taking the opportunity to quaff some renowned blends.

Days 10-13 Salta

Admire the city's elegant colonial architecture or head out of town to Quebrada de Humahuaca, a narrow mountain valley flanked by spectacularly colourful mountains and giant cacti.

Days 14-17 Salar de Uyuni

Gaze out over expansive salt flats of Salar de Uyuni, then visit fiery-red Laguna Colorado and blue-green Laguna Verde. These breathtaking natural wonders are a pleasure to behold and the perfect backdrop for holiday snaps.

Days 18-19 Potosi
