Voodoo Highlights

Map Image

Explore the coastal region of Togo and Benin and gain an insight into the mysterious and little understood spirit of Voodoo. We visit a sea turtle conservation program, and spend a night in one of Africa?s largest lake villages. As Ghana was once known as the Gold Coast, this area was known as the Slave Coast and there are many sobering reminders and monuments to visit to gain a better appreciation of this dark period in human history. The vibrant night life of Lomé and Cotonou will get the pulses racing, whilst the awesome beaches are the perfect place to take time to reflect and relax.
