Itinerary
Day 1 Anchorage
Kick off the adventure in Anchorage. This is Alaska's largest city so choose to arrive early and see the sights, from strolling around peaceful Delaney Park to soaking up some local history at the Anchorage Museum.
Days 2-3 Homer
Travel around the Kenai Peninsula to explore its many lakes, glaciers and mile-upon-mile of fascinating coastline. Keep an eye out for beluga whales playing out at sea while travelling along the Turnagain Arm on the journey to Homer.
Day 8 Anchorage
Admire the rugged east coast, where glaciers tumble down from the mountains and towards the ocean, on the journey back to Anchorage.
Day 4 Hope
Visit one of Alaska's first gold rush towns where the historic essence is still present.
Days 5-7 Seward
The opportunities are boundless in Seward. Take a boat cruise around the glaciers of Kenai Fjords National Park, hike up Exit Glacier to the Harding Icefield, ride on a dog sled or go halibut fishing. Keep an eye out for marine mammals such as sea lions, orcas and dolphins who all frequent these waters. There's also the possibility to take a flight over the area to capture the gorgeous views of this world of sculpted icebergs.
