Itinerary
Day 1 Quito
Explore this picturesque city on foot.
Days 2-3 Isla San Cristobal
Fly to the Galapagos Islands and cycle around the Isla San Cristobal, stopping at the Interpretation Center to learn the history of the Galapagos.
Day 4-6 Isla Floreana/Isla Isabela
Glimpse dolphins and albatross on the way to Isla Isabela via Isla Floreana. Scale the Sierra Negra volcano, visit a breeding centre for the giant tortoise and see the convict-built Wall of Tears.
Day 7 Isla Santa Cruz
View the Galapagos giant tortoise in its natural habitat on Isla Santa Cruz. View amazing lava tunnels, then head to Tortuga Bay to see marine iguanas.
Day 8 Isla Santa Fe/Isla San Cristobal
Visit the Charles Darwin Research Station to meet species brought back from the brink of extinction. Swim at Isla Santa Fe.
Day 9 Quito
Farewell the Galapagos Islands and return to the mainland.
Day 10 Lima
Fly to Peru and enjoy an orientation walk in Lima.
Days 11-12 Amazon Jungle
Fly to Puerto Maldonado, then travel by motorised canoe into the dense forest of the Amazon.
Day 13 Cuzco
Enjoy free time in charming Cuzco.
Day 14 Sacred Valley/Ollantaytambo
Visit a local community in the Sacred Valley then journey to the ancient town of Ollantaytambo.
Days 15-18 Inca Trail/Machu Picchu/Cuzco
Hike with a local guide across high plateaus and through cloud forests to stunning Machu Picchu.
Day 19 Cuzco
Get reacquainted with Cuzco.
Days 20-22 Puno/Lake Titicaca
Travel to Puno on the shores of Lake Titicaca. Visit the floating Uros Islands and enjoy a homestay.
Days 23-24 La Paz
Hit the streets of La Paz to celebrate the journey.
