Itinerary
Day 1 Quito
Get a feel for Ecuadorian life on a stroll around Quito's quaint Old Town, exploring some of its many churches, brightly painted colonial buildings and fascinating museums. This is one of the most attractive cities in South America, make the most of it!
Days 2-4 Amazon Jungle
Journey into the dense Amazon Jungle for an unforgettable stay at an eco lodge in the upper Amazon Basin, a location that, due to its proximity to the Andes, is rich in tropical, humid forests - one of the most biologically diverse regions in the world. Travel by canoe along the Napo River to reach a butterfly farm. Here learn about the life cycle of some of the hundreds of colourful species living in the surrounding rainforest. Visit an indigenous family to find out about their culture and traditions. Take guided walks through the jungle's secondary forests and learn how local plants are used for medicinal purposes. Days 5-6 Quito
