Days 3-4 Pucon
Opt to climb the nearby volcano of Villarrica, or relax in the thermal springs around the town.
Days 5-6 Puerto Montt
Pitch a tent close to the port city of Puerto Montt, in the midst of the Chilean Lake District.
Day 7 Carretera Austral/Chaiten
Hugged by rugged mountains, this humble fishing village is punctuated by the smouldering Corcovado and Michinmahuida volcanoes.
Days 8-10 Chilean Fjord Coast
Camp in the Patagonian wilds amid the intense beauty and isolation of one of the world's final frontiers.
Days 11-13 Los Glaciares National Park/El Chalten
