Itinerary
Day 1 Darwin/Litchfield National Park
Depart the Northern Territory's capital and travel to the Litchfield National Park. Walk through lush rainforest, admire waterfalls and enjoy a picnic lunch. Hit the road again to enjoy a night of camping and stargazing at Mt Bundy Station.
Day 2 Kakadu National Park
Journey to the awe-inspiring beauty of Kakadu. View ancient Aboriginal rock art, take in the immense beauty of Arnhem Land, and spot some of the prolific birdlife in the area. Spend time with the local people learning about their culture, bush tucker, art and dreamtime legends.
Day 3 Twin & Jim Jim Falls
Enjoy an early breakfast before heading out into a remote area of Kakadu to discover pristine waterfalls, crystal-clear rock pools and gorges only accessible by 4x4 and boat.
Day 4 Kakadu/Darwin
Embark on a morning cruise through tranquil wetlands home to saltwater crocodiles, native birds and water lilies. Afterwards, travel to a peaceful billabong for lunch, then explore an area of deep spiritual significance to the Aboriginal community. View ancient rock art and take in impressive views of the surrounding region. Depart the wilds of Kakadu and return to the modernity of Darwin in the afternoon.
