Discover the legends of the multi-hued monolith Uluru and marvel at the pristine beauty of Kings Canyon. Day 1 Uluru (Ayers Rock)

This magnificent monolithic rock enchants with its ever-changing hues. Join a local guide on a tour of Uluru's base. Discover ancient rock art and waterholes and learn about one of the oldest cultures in the world with a visit to a local cultural centre. In the evening, watch the colour of Uluru change with unforgettable sunset. Enjoy a traditional Aussie meal then camp overnight.

Day 2 Kata Tjuta (The Olgas)/Kings Creek Station

Wake early for a sunrise to remember at Kata Tjuta (The Olgas). Hike through winding gorges and past sandstone domes in the Valley Of The Winds. Enjoy a traditional camp oven dinner cooked in the hot coals of the fire at the Kings Creek Cattle Station. Swap stories and be mesmerised by thousands of stars sparkling from the clear desert night sky.

Day 3 Watarrka National Park (Kings Canyon)/Wallace Rockhole

Be amazed by the sheer cliffs and diverse plant species at Watarrka, then take a refreshing dip in the Garden of Eden rockpool. After a picnic lunch, head to Hermannsburg - an aboriginal mission famous for its arts and craft. Learn about the life of renowned Indigenous artist Albert Namatjira and view his unique artwork at the gallery. After a drive through the red sands of the country, arrive at Wallace Rockhole Aboriginal community for an unforgettable evening of tasty bush tucker cooked on the barbecue.

Day 4 Western MacDonnell Ranges/Alice Springs

Visit Wallace Rockhole's ancient rock paintings and carvings with a knowledgeable local guide. There's also an opportunity to learn the special techniques behind traditional dot painting. Travel to the Western MacDonnell Ranges to explore the rich earthy beauty of Standley Chasm and Simpsons Gap. Enjoy a peaceful picnic in the beautiful surroundings, and perhaps take a hike to spot local rock wallabies that inhabit the area. Farewell new friends back in the outback town of Alice Springs over a cold Australian beer or delicious kangaroo steak.
