Itinerary
Day 1 Uluru (Ayers Rock)
Astounding Uluru awaits with its ever-changing hues. Explore its vast base and discover ancient rock art and waterholes that bring life to the surrounding desert. Take some time to learn about one of the oldest cultures in the world, and the relationship the Aboriginal people have with Uluru. In the evening, watch this magnificent monolithic rock change colour with the sunset.
Day 2 Kata Tjuta (The Olgas)/Kings Creek Station
Enjoy daybreak over Kata Tjuta, a truly special experience. Then head off on a hike through the spectacular Valley of the Winds. In the afternoon, travel through the red sand dunes on the way to Kings Creek cattle station where optional activities are abundant. Try a traditional camp-oven dinner, cooked in the coals of the fire, before discovering the constellations of the massive desert sky during a stargazing session. Fall asleep to the sounds of the Outback.
Day 3 Watarrka National Park (Kings Canyon)/Alice Springs
Discover a Lost City and the Garden of Eden on a hike past the towering walls, crevices and plateaus of Watarrka - the photo opportunities here are endless. Be sure to bring your swimsuit as there's bound to be time for a swim in one of the tranquil rockpools. Return to Kings Creek Station for lunch and then head back to the outback town of Alice.
