Itinerary
Day 1 Johannesburg
The adventure begins in the commercial centre of South Africa.
Days 2-3 Kruger National Park
Travel along the scenic Panorama Route and stop to take in views of Blyde River Canyon. Enter Kruger National Park and be instantly taken with the scenic landscapes and abundance of wildlife. A night safari reveals nocturnal animals in action, while a morning game drive allows clear views of the parks precious creatures.
Day 4 Eastern Botswana
Cross the border into beautiful Botswana and try local cuisine in the town of Palapye.
Day 5 Northern Botswana
Take a sunset game drive for memorable encounters with the animal kingdom.
Days 6-7 Victoria Falls
Enter Zimbabwe and visit mighty Victoria Falls. The force of the water is simply awesome, and optional activities such as abseiling and rafting provide a chance to see the falls from different perspectives.
Day 8 Chobe National Park
Embark on an afternoon cruise along the Chobe River to spot hippos, elephants and crocodiles.
Day 9 Maun
Rise early and take an optional dawn game drive then camp overnight in the town of Maun.
Days 10-12 Okavango Delta/Maun
Set up camp on a remote island and start exploring on foot and in a traditional dugout canoe. Fall asleep under a luminous moon to the sounds of nature.
Day 13 Khama Rhino Sanctuary
Spend time at the Khama Rhino Sanctuary. Once hunting land, this reserve is now a sanctuary for rare black and white rhinos and other wildlife. Explore the park to spot other animals, including leopards, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest and ostriches, gathered around waterholes.
Days 14-15 Soweto/Johannesburg
Return to South Africa and cycle through Soweto. See the changing face of this community emerging from a tumultuous history and be inspired.
