Itinerary
Day 1 Quito
Discover the heart of Quito with a stroll through its atmospheric streets.
Days 2-3 Isla San Cristobal
Mountain bike through the highlands of this scenic island and drop into Isla de Lobos for the chance to go snorkelling with sea lions.
Days 4-6 Isla Isabela
Take in views from atop Isabelas Sierra Negra volcano, learn about the Galapagos famed giant tortoises at a breeding centre and visit the Wall of Tears.
Day 7 Isla Santa Cruz
Get up close to the famous Galapagos tortoises in their natural environment, then explore lava tunnels and the beaches of Tortuga Bay.
Day 8 Isla Santa Fe/Isla San Cristobal
Observe unique species brought back from the brink of extinction at the Charles Darwin Research Station. Snorkel with marine life in a bay on Isla Santa Fe.
Day 9 Isla Rabida/Quito
Visit Isla Rabida for some snorkelling and Isla Bartolome, home to an extinct volcano. Fly back to Quito.
Day 10 Lima
With grand churches, ornate palaces and colonial mansions, Perus capital is a wonderful place to explore by foot.
Day 11 Cuzco
This charming city overflows with Spanish-colonial buildings and the ruins of ancient temples.
Day 12 Ollantaytambo/Sacred Valley
Travel through the small villages of the Sacred Valley. Spend the night in the town of Ollantaytambo.
Days 13-16 Inca Trail/Machu Picchu/Cuzco
Trek the ancient paths of the Inca Empire, past ruins and through rich subtropical jungle. On the final morning watch Machu Picchu rising from the mist. Rest weary legs on the return train trip to Cuzco where this unforgettable trip ends.
Day 17 Cuzco
Relax at a cafe on Plaza de Armas and make a toast to an unforgettable adventure.
