Day 1 Arrive Cairo
Chaotic and colourful, Egypt's capital is a fascinating mixture of ancient and modern. On arrival, be transferred from the airport to the hotel and perhaps use free time to take a felucca ride or head to the peaceful Coptic Christian sector to escape the crowds.
Day 2 Cairo
Safari across the sand dunes by camel and soak up incredible views of the mighty Pyramids of Giza, then explore them up close with a local guide. Why not take the unique opportunity to crawl deep inside one of these ancient wonders before heading to the mysterious Sphinx? After lunch, visit the incredible Egyptian Museum, which boasts more than 120,000 ancient Egyptian artefacts, including Tutankhamen's remarkable burial treasure, coffin and famous gold funerary mask. The mummies exhibition is also worth checking out.
Day 3 Free Day Cairo
Perhaps shop for last minute souvenirs at the bustling Khan al-Khalili bazaar before saying goodbye to Cairo.
