Itinerary
Day 1 Corfu Town/Santa Barbara
Early arrivals can check out the ruins of Arkoudillas before transferring to Santa Barbara.
Day 2 Paramonas
Begin the adventure with an easy day of walking. Keep eyes peeled for wild birds at Lake Korission.
Day 3 Benitses
Step the hiking up a notch on a day of steep ascents and be rewarded with breathtaking views.
Day 4 Pelekas
Tackle more climbs on a trail skirting Mt Agii Deka, and relax in the walled gardens at the summit. Admire picture-perfect vistas from Aerostato.
Day 5 Liapades
Spot sun-worshipping nudists on Myrtiotissa Beach, before taking a steep path to the village of Vatos. Find even terrain along Ropa River en route to the ancient village of Liapades.
Day 6 Agios Georgios Pagon
Hike across more olive-blanketed hills, rugged terrain and cobbled trails. Soak up remarkable views from Bella Vista and zigzag along a cliff path.
Day 7 Spartylas
Journey deep into a valley, stopping for a breather at pretty Sokraki.
Days 8-9 Kalami
Encounter real mountain terrain on the ascent to the fresco-covered Taxiarchis Chapel. Walk through a tunnel of towering oaks and across spectacular Karst Plateau.
Enjoy a solid day of hiking. Explore the semi-ruined Byzantine village of Old Perithia before reaching St Spiridon Beach. Celebrate the epic journey with a feast of local produce, or soak tired muscles in the sea.
Day 10 Kalami/Corfu Town
Transfer back to Corfu Town where the journey ends.
