Day 1 Arrive Delhi
Be transferred from the airport to the hotel and dive straight into the colour of Delhi. Why not explore ahead of the adventure? Humayun's Tomb boasts exquisite early Murghal architecture and the surrounding garden is an oasis of calm amid the chaos of the city.
Day 2 Delhi
Start the day with a walk to the markets in Connaught Place, including the flower market. Enjoy a cup of sweet chai tea and spend time chatting to the market vendors. Continue to the Hanuman Temple and learn about morning puja (prayers). Afterwards, travel on the metro to the old part of Delhi, where food markets, temples, bazaars and historical sights await. Visit a temple dedicated to Hindu gods and gain insight into the Hindu religion from a local guide. The rest of the day is free to explore Old Delhi at leisure.
