La bella Italia is diverse and fascinating - experience seaside scenery, rustic city streets and delectable cuisine, all infused with that passionate Italian spirit.

Days 1-2 Venice

No place evokes old-world romance quite like Venice. Cross the Grand Canal in a traghetto then wander through the maze of narrow streets, over tiny bridges and along winding canals before relaxing with a gelato in one of the piazzas.

Days 3-4 Gubbio

Take a cable car up Mt Ingino to the frescoed basilica at its summit. Here, pay respect to the town's patron saint.

Days 5-6 Assisi/Spello

Travel to the birthplace of Saint Francis to see Roman temple ruins and the Basilica di San Francesco. Discover local wines and regional food specialties at an enoteca in medieval Spello

Days 7-8 Rome

With ancient ruins standing alongside chic boutiques and bustling cafes, Rome has to be seen to be believed. During free time, tread the cobbled streets to unearth history, see the sights and soak up that vibrant Italian spirit.

Days 9-10 Naples/Pompeii

Take a walk through the fascinating historical centre of Naples. Perhaps be tempted by a slice in the birthplace of Neapolitan pizza, then continue on to the incredible ruins of Pompeii.

Days 11-12 Sorrento

Soak up marvelous views of the Bay of Naples from the summit of mighty Mt Vesuvius. Travel onwards to Sorrento and stay in the peaceful town of SantÂ’Agnello.

Days 13-15 Amalfi

Hike the ‘Footpath of the Gods’ along the magnificent Amalfi Coast. The walk may be steep but the views are nothing short of spectacular. There’s plenty to explore on this famous stretch of coast - perhaps visit Positano to see pastel-coloured houses, or wander through the gardens of Ravello’s beautiful Villa Cimbrone.
