Day 1 Chiang Mai/Doi Mae Salong
Begin the adventure at an elephant camp. Watch these gentle giants take their morning bath, then climb aboard one for an unforgettable ride. Explore caves at Chiang Dao and travel onto Doi Mae Salong, a town reminiscent of a small southern Chinese village. In fact, this area is famous for its Chinese tea traders, so why not sit back and enjoy a cup in a traditional teahouse overlooking the mountains?
Day 2 Golden Triangle
Admire the Burmese lacquerware, gems and jade for sale at Mae Sai, the northernmost town in Thailand. Visit where the borders of Thailand, Burma and Laos converge in the infamous Golden Triangle. Stop off to visit a fascinating opium museum, then climb aboard a longtail boat and travel to the old city of Chiang Saen.
Day 3 Chiang Mai
Pay a visit to Chiang Rai's sparkling white Wat Rong Khun, relax in hot springs before returning to charming Chiang Mai.
