Day 1 Arrive Bangkok
Welcome to Thailand's bustling capital. Transfer to the hotel and settle in ahead of explorations of this exciting city. In free time, perhaps take a wander down the tourist mecca of Khao San Road an sample some delicious street food.
Day 2 Bangkok City Tour
Begin the day with a walk to the banks of the Chao Phraya River and board a longtail boat to discover the city's khlongs. Next up is a guided tour of Wat Pho to see the huge Reclining Buddha. The temple is the centre of the Buddhist religion in Thailand and regarded as the birthplace of traditional Thai massage. The final stop is the ornate Grand Palace. More than 220 years old, the palace has served as the official residence of the king and the seat of government, but is now a place of reverence for Thais. Enjoy a guided tour of the palace grounds, including Wat Phra Kaew, which houses the Emerald Buddha. Afterwards, return to the hotel to relax or spend more time exploring the area.
Day 3 Free Day Bangkok
There's still much to see and do in this sprawling city so, why not stay on a while longer to experience all it has to offer. Perhaps visit Chinatown, flag down a tuk-tuk to explore the winding streets or check out the lively nightlife. Wanting to pick up a last minute souvenir or shop up a storm? There's plenty of bargains to be found in Bangkok's many markets and mega malls. Be sure to sample one last fiery curry or steamy pad thai before you leave!
